This Golden Bud Dian Hong was made in Jinggu county, Yunnan. Dian denotes that is comes from Yunnan and Hong means that it is hong cha, which literally translates as Red Tea, although most westerners would call it "Black Tea", a mistake that has been perpetuated for centuries.
It takes an expert's hand to carefully process the delicate, soft, fuzzy and furry golden buds that make up this very special hand-picked and hand-rolled artisan tea. It is a beautiful tippy Dian Hong covered in lots of fine hair. An all-bud tea like this is sweeter and lighter than other, darker Dian Hongs. Limited production.
