Excellent one bud, one leaf early first-flush tea picked at the Sikkim Temi Estate, founded in 1969 (The Summer of Love) located at 1600 m in the Himalayas of Sikkim. This isn't a commercial Temi production but a very unique, limited edition, first-harvest tea, which was made to order from the very best P312 cultivar tea trees in their garden. Its leaves are very lightly oxidized with many tender tips, resulting in a tea that is physically attractive. Once brewed, the tea is a deep copper orange, with penetrating aroma and a nice balance between fruity, floral, and balsamic notes. This tea is quite potent and handles many steepings. Make sure you don't overbrew it or it will be exceedingly bitter. Enjoy the travel and breathe the pristine high mountain Himalaya air!
