Si Ji Chun translates as "4 Seasons Spring Oolong". Its name refers to the fact that it can be harvested 4-6 times a year. It is a natural wild hybrid that was first discovered at Muzah and is closely related to Chin Shin and hence Tie Guan Yin. It is sweet, floral and slightly sour or tart. This particular organic-certified tea was made by Mr. Chen. It is a very pleasant, fresh, inviting tea that is only very slightly oxidized. You'll find it has very distinctive floral notes like lilies, jasmine and wild ginger. Like other fine organic teas, it is full of life; making your entire body feel great. It also exemplifies another aspect of fine teas; it is very patient and one pot is good for many steepings.
