This delicious 100 gram 1990 Menghai Private Production shou puerh cake was comissioned by a private collector and is a perfectly aged treasure that was taken to Taiwan in the 90s and stored in excellent conditions, where it matured into this marvelous tea we can enjoy now. This tea comes from Menghai, which is the western district of Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Region. It is home to many famous tea mountains such as Nan Nuo Shan, Bu Lang Shan, Meng Song, Pasha, etc.
The taste is pure, brisk, deep, earth and sweet. After drinking, we feel the rare and celebrated "Chen Xiang" aroma typical of aged teas, with traces of ginseng, baked champignon and woody notes. Although its taste is full and strong, its effect on the body is kind, mild, warm, rather calm and relaxing. The aftertaste is quite intense and sticks to the palate for a long time. The perfect opportunity to taste a very nicely aged shou puerh!
