Extraordinary limited edition Gu Shu (Old Trees) wild Shan Tuyet Sheng Puerh tea produced in small quantities in Ha Giang province, Vietnam (1600 m). Ha Giang is the most northern province in Vietnam and shares a 270km border with Yunnan, China. It is home to many wild and ancient tea trees such as the 150-200 year old trees that were carefully picked, withered, gently pan-fired and rolled and sun dried in small batches to make this tea.
You'll find this tea to be delicious and very friendly as far as sheng puerh goes. You will certainly notice the special thick sweetness that can only come from old trees. It is bright and fresh yet complex with sweet floral aftertaste and gentle fruity notes of apples and pear over a lightly smoky wood backdrop.
