Excellent vintage oolong harvested on a small farm in Pinglin, Taiwan. It is tightly rolled oolong, which was charcoal roasted in 1980 and then aged in a “natural storage” by Mr. Cheng Shu in the small town of Hengshan in Hsinchu, Taiwan. Since so much time has passed since this tea begun maturing it is impossible for us to know the name of the farmer or even the cultivar used. Back then, there wasn’t so much attention to detail as today. The important thing is we have the chance to drink this vintage today!
