Long Jing is China’s most famous green tea. With that said, this 2006 vintage from Taiwan has nothing in common with your expectations, leaving you at a complete loss of words and shaking yopur head… how is this possible? The leaves were picked in the summer of 2006 on Mr. Wang’s natural gradens in San Xia, then they were stored after production for aging and development without any baking or additional processing. The result is an incredibly surprising tea that is no longer green and resembles an incredible red tea with its long, dark leaves and golden tips.
