2012 Blind Mist Shou Puerh

This 7 years aged ripe shou pu-erh tea was produced from tea leaves harvested in the Mang Fei mountain area of Yong De county (Lincang). For this loose-leaf puerh tea they used grade 5 size tea leaves (neither big, nor small).  The leaves then underwent wet piling (wo dui) in a local Yong De area tea factory, and then sold to a Nan Jian area tea factory. Finally it was aged in Nan Jian since its production in 2012, and now after losing its “wo dui” taste (freshly fermented flavor) brews up a clear red tea soup.  The taste is very clear and sweet, with an earthy, camphor taste. You’ll find it to be smooth and soothing and perfect to drink now, but will continue to improve with further storage. Read more below:
