Artisan Japanese chawan (12,5cm x 7cm) designed for preparing Japanese matcha green tea in Chanoyu Japanese Tea Ceremony, made by the skilled hands of potter Aleš Belin Dančák. Aleš is a Czech ceramist from Ostrava, specialized in both earthenware and porcelain teaware. His chawans are fired with natural glazes at 1300 degrees in a wood-fired kiln with a reduction atmosphere.

All pieces are unique and one of a kind, although often they may appear similar.
