Old Mountain Green Tea is a delicious top-grade, early-spring small leaf green tea with lots of buds that grows near the Ocean at an altitude of 300 meters in Laoshan (Old Mountain), Shandong province. Leaves of the Longjing #43 cultivar were grown at a higher latitude than any other tea in China. The bushes must be covered and protected from frost and the harsh winter climate of northern China. You’ll find this tea to be quite complex and delight in the oscillating waves of umami, sweet and savoury notes balanced with pleasant astringency.
