Organic Darjeeling early Spring first flush harvested from organic Tukdah garden blending leaves from T78 cultivar and original china bushes. Tukdah was originally established in 1864. The word Takdah in Lepcha means “Place of tigers”. These days there are no longer tigers although once in a while leopards do stray into the garden area. You’ll find it to be a a very tasty, lively sweet tea with a fresh floral and herbal aroma that is heavy with fruity notes like melon and grapes. A perfect tea for the summer!
