Organic Sencha Benifuuki Kagoshima

,

Very interesting organic sencha from Kagoshima Prefecture on the island of Kyushu. Dry leaf appearance is not so great as the leaves are quite large and plump, but the tea flavor is engaging, with nice sweet floral tones and very slight bitterness. This tea is made with the Benifuuki cultivar which is used in Japan to treat allergies.
