Very good first-flush organic sencha green tea made using leaves of the Yutakamidori varietal plucked from a garden lying just beyond the active Kirishima volcano in Makizono, Kagoshima Prefecture, Japan. This green tea has very nicely shaped, dark green and emerald leaves. Its aroma is unusually sweet for sencha with an interesting array of nutty, floral and fruity notes and thick, heavy and full with body.
