Delicious chocolatey hong cha (“red” tea in China, “black” tea in west) produced by Dong Tao on his family farm which has been producing tea over the last two decades in Laoshan, Shandong Province. Leaves of the Longjing #43 cultivar were grown at a higher latitude than any other tea in China, while allowing full exposure to the harsh winter climate of northern China. These circumstances give the tea a very full, complex profile with powerful cocoa and carob aroma and flavor.
