Wu Yi Huang Mei Gui (Yellow Rose) oolong tea is a Wu Yi Mountain grown tea varietal that is a cross between Huang Jin Gui and Huang Dan varietals commonly found in Anxi. The tea bushes however were grown in the protected inner circle of Wu Yi National Park and processed in the Wu Yi tradition. The leaves were roasted 4 times with rest periods of up to two months in-between roastings. The final roast was completed in summer 2015 and the tea was left to rest until late fall before selling.
