Warm and interesting, mid-roasted oolong tea with heavier oxidation made from Wu Yi varietal leaves plucked form Mr. Chen Huan Tong’s gardens. Chen is a renowned tea grower and author of several instructional publications for farmers. The final roast was done by Mr. Lin. The dry leaves have a pleasant, spicy, roasted scent. The tea tastes delicate, smooth, light and sweet with warm, roasted notes that don’t conceal the Wuyi varietal’s natural fruity and spicy notes. This tea has rested for 3 years to allow the roast to fully settle and is now perfect for enjoying, although it will also age well.
