It’s not easy to find such excellent Japanase black tea (actually called Red Tea: koucha), this artisan blend of Asatsuyu and Yutakamidori varietals comes from the spring ichibancha harvest grown on the tiny Yakushima island in the south of Kyushu. You’ll find this to be a great tea to start your day, its flavor is strong and fruity, distinctly aromatic and very smooth on the palate.
