It’s not easy to find such excellent Japanase red tea (koucha), this artisan Zairai tea comes from Mr Kajihara’s farm in the village of Tsuge on Kyushu Island. The leaves come from the first harvest of Zairai tea trees, which have been cultivated from wild seeds and not by cloning. You’ll find this to be a great tea to start your day, its flavor is sweet, distinctly aromatic and very smooth on the palate.
