This Golden Bud hong cha was made by Mr. Lu in Yang Ta village in Jinggu county, Yunnan. The varietal itself is rare as it belongs to the Camellia Taliensis type native to the area. The leaves were picked from 40-60 year old bushes. It is a beautiful tippy Dian Hong (Yunnan Hong Cha), covered in lots of fine hair. An all-bud tea like this is sweeter and lighter than other, darker Dian Hongs. Limited production.
