It is a small private production made from Menghai area ripe pu-erh tea produced in 2005. It was dry aged in Kunming from 2005 until now and is very clean and mellow having aged without mustiness.
Menghai is the western county of Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Region. It is home to many famous tea mountains such as Nan Nuo Shan, Bu Lang Shan, Meng Song, Pasha, etc. This tea is simply wrapped in a plain white wrapper. It is a mixture of various grades of small leaves including a generous number of golden tips. The brewed tea is light reddish brown in color with a pleasant aged flavor and aroma, a long lasting mouthfeel that coats the mouth with a wonderful rich, oily, creamy and viscous texture.
