This amazing Lotus flower is filled with green tea from the ancient tea bushes growing in Tan Cuong, Thai Nguyen Province in Northern Vietnam. The lotus flower is the symbol of Awakening and Purity. To make this delicate tea it is important to carefully pick the lotus flowers at dawn. Then hand-picked leaves plucked from ancient tea-trees are lightly pan-fried before they are placed directly in the heart of the lotus flowers and the petals are gently closed left to be cold dried for 72 hours. This traditional impregnation technique gives whole fresh-flower lotus green tea its pure and seductive floral fragrance.
